Customer Reviews
Good value for a year
I signed up for the PocketSmith Premium Plan after my free trial. The annual subscription discount made it a no-brainer. It was a decent saving compared to monthly, and the Net Worth Tracker alone made it feel worth the cost for me.
Solid budgeting, minor quirks
I purchased the PocketSmith Super Plan a few weeks ago, mostly for the long-term cash flow forecasting. The Bank Feed Sync worked fine for most of my accounts, but one of my smaller credit unions took a couple of tries to connect. The Budget Calendar is really helpful for seeing upcoming bills. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about importing historical data. Overall, it's a powerful tool, though I wish the mobile app had a bit more functionality, like easier custom category creation on the go.
Transitioned from Mint, mostly smooth
I finally made the switch from Mint to PocketSmith and bought the Premium Plan. The Data Import Tools were pretty good; I managed to get most of my old transaction history in without too much hassle, though I had to manually clean up a few categories afterward. The Transaction Categorization feature is robust, and I appreciate being able to set up my own rules. I used the bank statement uploader for an older account which worked okay, but it took a bit of fiddling to get the dates right. Delivery isn't really a thing here since it's software, but accessing the features was immediate after payment. The Financial Dashboard gives a good overview, and the Income Forecaster is much more detailed than what I had before. My only minor complaint was a small learning curve with setting up repeating transactions in the Budget Calendar.
